Collaborative Making | The Future Belongs to the Loving
Join us Saturday July 19, 12-4pm at MAPSpace in Port Chester, NY for "Ice Cream Sundae Solidarity & Gathering Threads of Care" - a unique collaborative workshop combining community art-making with social connection. The Mother Creatrix Collective leads participants in transforming donated bed sheets into strips through meditative, communal labor, creating materials for the 2026 Bed Sheet Crochet Circle at Brooklyn's Old Stone House. This hands-on fiber art workshop explores traditional material repurposing while building support networks through shared stories and creative collaboration.
