Allison Belolan is an artist whose practice is rooted in observation and place. Her abstract compositions, featuring handmade paper, repurposed materials, and mixed media techniques, are influenced by her careful observations and documentation of her surroundings. Allison's work has appeared in art fairs and galleries across the United States, including the 2024 Every Woman Biennial, the Bruce Museum Fine Arts Fair, and The Gallery at Yellow Studio.

Allison studied Printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 2001. After working as a jewelry designer, she returned to school and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Art Education from the School of Visual Arts in 2009. She taught art in New York public schools until 2019. Currently, she serves as Art Curator and Exhibit Director at The Idea Kitchen in Larchmont and as Communications & Curatorial Associate at The Yellow Studio in Cross River. Allison's art has been featured in publications and online platforms such as The Story Exchange, Visionary Art Collective, Art Seen, and I Like Your Work. She lives and works from her home studio in Mamaroneck, New York, collaborating with artists, collectors, curators, and industry professionals for commissions, unique projects, and licensing opportunities.

Allison is a member of the Mother Creatrix Collective, the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA), and the Katonah Museum Artists Association, and participates in CritLab, an artist critique group based in Westchester.
