Today’s world is fraught with issues around identity. Who we are, where we came from, whom we love, how we vote - all are increasingly volatile aspects of how our society defines us. When we draw the human figure, we are, in a sense, always drawing ourselves as well.
Juror: Dr. Wendy Simonds Wendy Simonds is an artist, playwright, and Professor of Gerontology and Sociology at Georgia State University. Simonds’s areas of specialization include gender, sexuality, reproductive justice, aging, and health.
