I’m pleased to have work included in Cursed Objects at (SCENE) Metrospace in East Lansing, Michigan.
Curated by Hailey Becker, the exhibition asks what it means for something to be cursed in 2026. Twenty-one artists consider how ordinary objects gather the weight of tragedy and retelling, working through illness, labor, inheritance, and haunted spaces, and how a curse can become a way of remembering. Much of the work turns toward agency: reclaiming power, or lifting the curse altogether.
