Black & Gold is an ongoing investigation into textures and edges through an earthy palette of black, white, and metallic gold. These primarily collage-based works incorporate handmade recycled papers torn into shapes, along with repurposed artwork and painted papers assembled into abstract compositions that often evoke a sense of mountainous landscapes.

With a focus on the interplay of materials and hues, I examine a different expression of my exploratory process, prompting viewers to observe the tactile surfaces and contrast of forms with a renewed curiosity. The rich blacks and gleaming gold tones create a luxurious yet grounded aesthetic in these mixed-media pieces, works that translate my inquisitive approach into visually engaging compositions that invite contemplation.
