Current Work
This body of work emerges from close observation of lichen, organisms that exist only through collaboration between fungi and algae. I am drawn to lichen as models for understanding community, collaboration, and ecological resilience in the broader world. Through handmade paper, natural dyes, printmaking processes, and collage, I translate these intricate structures into layered compositions that ask viewers to reconsider what they overlook in their immediate environments.
