About The Idea Kitchen

The Idea Kitchen is a vibrant coworking space and cultural hub in Larchmont, NY, committed to fostering creativity, collaboration, and community. For nearly five years, our rotating art exhibition program has showcased the work of more than 50 regional artists, bringing energy and inspiration to our members while deepening connections to the creative community across Westchester and beyond.

Our exhibitions celebrate diverse voices, thoughtful curation, and the creative process itself. Each show transforms our workspace into a gallery where art and daily work coexist, reminding us that creativity and inspiration belong in every aspect of our lives.

About the Curator

Allison Belolan is a Mamaroneck-based multidisciplinary artist and The Idea Kitchen's Art Curator and Exhibit Director. Her own creative practice spans printmaking, collage, and photography, exploring the connection between internal and external landscapes through investigation-focused work that prompts viewers to observe the world with renewed curiosity.

Allison's work has been exhibited across the United States, including the 2024 Every Woman Biennial, the Bruce Museum Fine Arts Fair, and The Gallery at The Yellow Studio. She studied Printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Art Education from the School of Visual Arts. Her work has been featured in The Story Exchange, Visionary Art Collective, Art Seen, and I Like Your Work.

As curator, Allison brings both her artistic sensibility and her commitment to uplifting diverse voices, creating exhibitions that introduce new perspectives and help viewers discover the stories behind the art.
